Heather started doing gymnastics at 4 years old and was a competitive gymnast for 15 years. As a level 10 gymnast Heather was both a Regional and National competitor. She was a USAG Level 10 Regional Vault Champion while competing at Nittany Gymnastics in State College before walking onto the Penn State Women’s Gymnastics team as a vault specialist.
After receiving her degree from Penn State, Heather worked at one employeer in the Convenience Store Industry for 12 years. During her tenure she worked in Information Technology, Marketing, Sales and Merchandising.
Heather is the Business Programs Manager and the Group Fitness Manager at Centre Elite. She is a USA Gymnastics Certified Meet Director and was the Meet Director and Meet Coordinator for the 2016 Level 8 Regional Championships, 2017 Level 7 State Championships and 2018 Level 4 State Championships. She holds Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor Certifications in both CXWORX and BODYCOMABT and teaches a number of group fitness classes to our members each week.
Heather and her husband Paul live in Petersburg, PA with their dogs Chester and Metta.
Karen Stupak has been with CEG since the gym first opened in 2010. She has been teaching preschool and beginner classes along with starting KinderGym in 2012. She is currently the recreational Class Program Director and loves to help her fellow instructors be the best they can be. She also enjoys making sure the children and families have a wonderful experience during class. Karen has been a gymnast since the age of 5, where she started at the Columbia Academy Tumblejets in Bloomsburg, PA. She then moved to the Susquehanna Valley Gym Starz where she competed for many years, finishing as a class 3 optional gymnast (level 7).
Karen lives in State College with her husband Jonathan and son Alex. She enjoys traveling and golfing. "I love my role at CEG. It has been great to be a part of the gym working with wonderful families and working with the kids as they advance in gymnastics. My heart just adores seeing children achieve their personal goals and I am so happy to be a part of that."
Stephanie has 20 years of experience teaching and raising young children. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Education and has taught most grades in a number of different states. While over seas supporting her husband in the Air Force, she taught a community home schooling preschool. In addition, she has coached basketball, softball and volleyball.
Stephanie has been teaching preschool gymnastics classes and our morning Kindergym program for the past two years. She loves fitting into the family here at Centre Elite and believes that "Children are the future. I just want to teach them many social, academic and athletic skills all while having fun learning gymnastics! Life can have it all when you're young!"
Stephanie is the Preschool Program Director and also runs the Kindergym program.
Sara works in the office and helps with the kinder gym program and is one of the Birthday Party Co-Directors. The whole family has come to know and love gymnastics since her time here at CEG. Her daughter Macy competes as a level 6 gymnast and her son Max takes a boys class here at CEG. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves a good book every now and then. Sara takes great pride in embarrassing her kids by singing and dancing obnoxiously.
Jen has been working on the administrative staff of CEG since the summer of 2015 as one of the Birthday Party Co-Directors. Her favorite part of the job is helping kids and families have a fun, positive experience at the gym. Prior to working at CEG, she has held administrative positions at Christ Community Church and The Ballet Theatre of Central Pennsylvania.
